英文摘要(原文)

This chapter provides a comprehensive framework for passive thermal management technologies in the modern automotive systems that emphasizes on the growing importance in the domain of electric, hybrid, and autonomous vehicles. The key passive mechanisms discussed are the heat pipes, vapor chambers, phase-change materials, thermoelectric generators, and passive radiative cooling for enhancing heat transfer rate, stabilizing component temperatures, and reducing the load on active cooling systems. The chapter highlights how these technologies enable high heat flux dissipation and provide cooling without external energy input. Emerging trends such as multi-material thermal composites, AI-driven topology optimization, hybrid passive-active architectures, advanced radiative coatings, and integrated thermal-structural designs are explored as pathways for improving system efficiency, reliability, and vehicle range. Together, these innovations establish a robust foundation for next-generation automotive thermal management, enabling safer, more efficient, and environmentally sustainable mobility platforms.
